Artwork Guide
The following guidelines will help ensure that your branding/images are reproduced to the highest quality possible.
Branding Area
All our products with the exception of bespoke include free personalisation of your branding area, this is the space usually at the top of the product assigned for your business details and logo (if required) as in the example below.
Supplying your info
The easiest way to supply your info is within the product page itself when ordering, simply click the file upload button to attach your info to your order. You can attach multiple files at the same time.
If you forget to include your info after order completion, don't worry as we will send you an email artwork reminder anyway.
Note: If you have purchased calendars or wall planners from us before we will already have your branding area artwork stored in our archives so there is no need to supply anything unless something needs changing.
Supplying your logo
When supplying your logo we recommend a vector format such as Illustrator ai or PDF, vector format will ensure your logo will look sharp when printed. If this is not possible then a high resolution image at 300 ppi will be ok, PNG's or Jpegs should be fine.
Avoid supplying logos designed for screen viewing eg. a website or mobile device, they are often low resolution and will produce low quality print results. The below example shows the one on the left (image) taken from a company website, it is low quality, whereas the one on the right (vector) is sharp with no loss of detail. The same also applies to any other logos supplied eg. accreditations, affiliations or quality marks etc.
Supplying your own branding area artwork
If you would prefer to supply your own artwork for the branding area, please see the table below for the different product sizes. Artwork must be supplied as a high resolution PDF or image file.

Supplying your own Images
If you wish to use your own images please contact us for further information.
A quick note about supplying your own images
Images should be supplied in a digital format such a jpeg or tiff at a high resolution, we'd recommend a resolution of 300ppi.
Please be aware that landscape photos work best (ie. a horizontal photo) on all our calendars. When supplying images please rename each image with the month it represents and also include the caption (if applicable).
We wouldn't recommend using images taken from the web or with a camera phone (unless its a high spec phone), they are usually low quality and in the case of the web they are the legal property of someone else. The below example shows the left image taken from google images and the right image taken with a camera on high quality settings.

Supplying your own calendar artwork
Print ready artwork means complete artwork which we print directly from your file which should be in a PDF format. Supplying artwork components such as a word file and separate images for us to create artwork from is not the same as artwork supplied. This Artwork must be supplied as a high resolution PDF.
Please note: You must allow a 10mm margin to all edges on our standard sizes, if your design requires edge to edge print coverage then please contact us and we will be able to advise on an alternative page size.

CMYK Colour
All our products are produced using CMYK inks. Any files or artwork supplied will automatically be converted to our CMYK colour profile. Please note that if you have used pantone colours or RGB images within your artwork there can be a colour shift during the conversion.
Proof
We will always send you a PDF proof before we go to print even if you have supplied your own bespoke artwork. This is to make sure that you are 100% happy with the proof before committing to print, you are responsible for thoroughly checking your proof and we are unable to go to print until we have received your approval.
